BRADFORD HEIGHTS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL OUTGROWN SALE
BRADFORD HEIGHTS ELEMENTARY SCHOOLOUTGROWN SALE

Consignor Sale Shift

Please note that all consignors, volunteers, shoppers, and visitors at the sale

voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure due to Covid-19

and must adhere to all Downingtown Area School District Covid-19 safety protocols,

which includes wearing a mask, if required.

This sale is made possible by our wonderful sale volunteers.  Having a schedule with assigned shifts ensures that there will be sufficient coverage to keep the sale running successfully for our consignors and our shoppers.  When consignors sign up for a sale shift and don’t show or change a shift at the last minute, it puts stress on the already hardworking people covering the shifts.  Please be mindful of that when signing up for a sale shift, and please do not sign up for a shift until you are absolutely sure you will be participating in the sale as a consignor.

CONSIGNOR: VOLUNTEER SHIFT AGREEMENT
Please note that every consignor must electronically sign a consignor agreement during sale registration in order to volunteer at the sale. Please note the below items:

  1. You need to sign in and out with committee member, Ellen Beears, during the sale.  If you do not sign in and out, you will be charged the $25 non-worker fee.
  2. You must wear a nametag for the entire shift.
  3. If the entire shift is not worked, a $10 fee will be deducted from your earnings.
  4. If you cancel or change your work shift less than 7 days before the sale or if you do not show up for a work shift, you will be charged a $10 fee. (This is in addition to the $25 non-worker fee.)  If you need to make a change and are able to trade a shift or get someone else to cover your shift for you, please let us know ASAP and we will work with you.
  5. If you absolutely must bring children with you, they must stay out of the way and are not allowed to help in any way.  This includes, but is not limited to setting up, sorting items at the end of the sale, and breaking down the sale.  This is for the safety of all involved.  There are many large, heavy pieces of equipment being moved, and it can become an unsafe environment for unattended children.
  6. If you sign up for the “sort shift,” please be aware that you will be assigned an area to sort, and then instructed where to move on from there.  Please do not sort your own items.
  7. Any consignor that has no inventory or limited inventory 2 weeks prior to the sale will be taken out of their work shift.  You will need to sign up again for a work shift when/if you do enter your items.  Work shifts are first come, first served!  If you are taken out of a shift, there is no guarantee the same shift will be available.

SALE SHIFTS

Sale shifts and their descriptions are listed below.  They are filled on a first come, first served basis.

Consignors should sign in with Ellen Beears 10–15 min prior to starting your shift.

If you are unable to be there at the appointed time, please contact us at bhogsale@gmail.com ASAP

so we can make sure the shift is covered.
